LONG RANGE CLASS – Minden, NV – October 19th & 20th

I feel fortunate that I found the long range class Jim offered as he was able to fix in a few hours what i had been fighting with for close to a year. During the zero phase of day 1 he had me shooting 1 MOA shot groups which had been eluding me for a VERY long time. That right there made the class worth while, but Jim was not done. On day 2, shooting at distances Jim was driven to ensure I had a valid hit on each target out to 1,000 yds. I was also fortunate to repeat the process (zero and distances) with a different batch of ammunition on day 2 and Jim was motivated throughout.
I am looking forward to practicing the skills i learned during the class and taking additional classes that Jim offers.

If you really want to understand your weapon and how to properly utilize it to “protect yourself or your loved ones ” this is a must class. I have been around weapons since being very young. But, this will teach you to use your weapon to your advantage and to be more comfortable in doing so. Obviously practice makes these lessons better but the class was phenomenal. I like his enthusiasm, no nonsense approach and you will too. Class was worth every minute of training. Hope to do a follow-up soon. I highly recommend this class to anyone, from beginner to expert from man or woman. Great stuff. Thanks Jim!

Joined Team Kraken figuring “what the hell” i don’t know if I’ll get out of it what I put in. Got EVERYTHING I put in and more!! The group of like-minded people he put together was awesome! Not only was the group great but Jim himself is an amazing man to work with and more then willing to help with any question you may have. Jim, thanks for all your help and advice!!

Will definitely be using him, in the future for more training. Experienced to say the least, very knowledgeable guy. Enjoyed my time and new experiences.

I’ve had my revolver for about 10 years for in-home self defense. It sits in my bedside easy-access safe, except when I pull it out once in a great while to go to the range or to investigate something my dogs are barking about. I’ve felt comfortable with my handgun, but I’ve never been trained by anyone but it (very competent but not a professional) husband. I had the opportunity to take a class with Jim, and I am so glad I did! He is obviously very knowledgeable and experienced, but he is not at all intimidating. He made me feel at ease and encouraged as I went through each drill. He gave such practical advice, and I know I can replicate the drills on my own to continue increasing my skill level. I look forward to further training with him, to build upon the foundation being built. I can not recommend him enough!
