The Makora refresh is a design that originally evolved from the Ultratech design. It has the overall form of an Ultratech with the added peak on the top of the handle and the benefit of a grip inlay. Other improvements on the new Makora line include fluting on the base of the blade, porting in the bottom of the chassis, and nickel boron coated internals. These improvements make the action incredibly smooth and reliable, as well as making maintanence a little easier.
This signature series model features a black DLC anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with carbon fiber inlay. DLC M390* stainless steel double edge dagger blade. DLC finished hardware and DLC pocket clip with the signature series and the Makora logos. The pocket clip also has the model information, serial number, and production date. Nickel Boron internals. The signature series model do not disappoint! Brand new in box.

I have taken this class 4 times now. I drive all the way from Oregon. I own a firearm store and I bring a group of 10 for every class from my shop. We will be back again!! Thank you Jim for such a awesome class!!
My husband and 14 year old son and I have all taken this class now. I can not say enough about the caliber of education we’ve received. We’ll definitely be back for more classes and advanced classes. Well worth the trip from Oregon!
We were presented with excellent information ! Jim is a skilled instructor, presenting the materials in layers. Easy to follow. Range time was also presented in layers so we were able to implement one skill on top of the next. Along with great material, Jim also used humor to keep us alert. I would highly recommend Jim’s class !!
When you have a subject matter expert, who instructs this day in and day out, is as giddy as you are at your inevitable success. That pretty much sums up the experience with Jim. Knowledgable, personable, professional, and credible are what you are looking for in any instructor. Jim and his compadres have it nailed down. I’m a lifetime shooter/hunter and had no idea how little I knew. Jim took what I had, tweaked it, corrected it, and improved it. By the second day everything started to come together and while I certainly have a way to go, 1000 yards with my out of the box rifle and scope were a done deal. Jim and company are up close and personal and immediately available for feedback, critique, and praise. Fantastic crew and experience. Hell, I’d pay just for the camaraderie, but I’ll be going again to improve upon my new knowledge and skills and inevitably to correct self-taught bad habits.
Great course given by an excellent teacher. The classroom work breaking down the mechanics of good shooting was enlightening. Jim’s approach is down to earth and accessible. He has great deal of patience and can point out what needs to be worked on. We were able to do some movement drills to experience what its like to shoot in a fluid environment. I never get the chance to do that and look forward to going to train at his school in Nevada.
