In this class I will help you understand and apply the fundamentals of marksmanship both stationary and while moving. Understand the different types of malfunctions and how to fix them quickly. How to use concealment to gain the advantage.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Students will be introduced to new concepts and techniques designed to increase speed, accuracy and weapons handling.. Students will conduct a series of progressive training evolutions under instructor supervision in order to gain proficiency prior to a culmination exercise at the end of the day.
PREREQUISITES: A base knowledge of shooting. This is not a beginner class.

I took Jim’s CCW class last month. I was apprehensive at first thinking that I would be criticized for my inexperience and the fact that I am a “mature” single woman. Jim gives a great class, lots of good information, and good stories to relieve tension and demonstrate important points of firearm handling. Both Jim and his wife Annaliese helped relieve my concerns. At the range, they both helped with suggestions on grip, stance, and posture. If I had known that working with them would be so comfortable, I would have taken a class months ago. I was impressed by the way they treated all of their students regardless of their age or level of experience (or inexperience). I highly recommend their CCW class.
You can’t go wrong with Jim as your ccw instructor, made the day interesting with humor and his knowledge of guns. Highly recommend
This is my 3rd State’s CCW class and by far the best one. Jim has a way of making what can be dull information interesting by adding personal real world experience. During range time his experience and focus on the fundamentals ensure even seasoned shooters improve.
I recently took my first CCW class and had a great time with Jim as the teacher. He was helpful and approachable, both in the classroom and at the shooting range. Thank you Jim for making our long day an enjoyable learning experience!
Jim Erwin aka the Kraken is a top Instructor. Very informative, high energy and a laugh a minute, while imparting the information to the class. He made a dry subject matter interesting and made sure everyone got all the information needed. He was also able to answer any question thrown at Him. Out on the range his lifetime of gun experience was quite evident. He was able to help each shooter to learn proper shooting techniques out on the range. So by the end of the day He answered all our questions, taught us to shoot properly and made it a fun day. It was like hanging out with a super-gun-knowledgeable friend.
