Fundamentals are the foundation to everything. This class will build upon them and challenge you mentally as well. The class is designed to build upon established fundamentals with drills and scenarios. We then discuss the different setups and what your perception of the situation was and how you dealt with it. Scenarios will be put in place to make you think as you move and which weapons platform best fit the situation at hand. We will challenge your accuracy and your shoot/no shoot thought process. So come join us for a fun day on the range and be ready to learn on the move.

Both shooting platforms is preferred but if you just have one or the other that is also fine. There will be ground work so dress accordingly

• DRAWING FROM THE HOLSTER/ GETTING YOUR GUN IN THE FIGHT
• REACT TO THREAT FACING MOVEMENTS/ DIRECTIONAL TARGET ENGAGEMENT
• MOVEMENT TECHNIQUES AND APPLICATION
• USE OF COVER/ OBSTACLES/ CONCEALMENT
• RELOADS/ MAGAZINE CHANGES
• CARBINE FUNDAMENTALS OVERVIEW

• OPTICS AND MECHANICAL OFFSET

• RELOADS/ MAG CHANGES

• WEAPON TRANSFERS

• TRANSITIONS TO PISTOL

• MOVEMENT TECHNIQUES

• During break there will also be a Staccato 2011 Demo. Your chance to shoot the worlds best shooting handgun.

What to bring: 

• Eye & Ear Protection
• Pistol with 2 or 3 magazines
• Carbine Rifle with 2 or 3 magazines
• Holster & mag holder
• Rifle Sling
• Good gun belt
• Body Armor if that’s how you carry your rifle mags
• Food and Water
